Fond is the masterpiece of Chef Ethan Snider and his culinary talents. If organic and farm-sourced food is your thing, you must visit this delicious lunch spot to satisfy your taste buds. The hummus is sure to get your mouth watering.
Savory dishes for meat eaters and vegetarians alike make this a go-to place for anyone. Fond also serves breakfast and coffee if you want a pre-work snack to kick off your day. This hot food spot is open Mondays through Saturdays from 7 AM to 3 PM.
2. Montgomery Inn

This restaurant’s reputation precedes itself and dates back to 1951, so it should be no surprise the Original Montgomery Inn is one of our favorite lunch and dinner spots. It’s honestly hard to find anything on this menu that is not downright delicious.
While the ribs and Saratoga chips always hit the spot and we recommend those to all newcomers, don’t underrate the other dishes like the grilled pork chops, western burger, and barbecued spring chicken. You can’t help but agree that Montgomery Inn is the best! There’s a reason many people around the country think of Montgomery Inn when they think of Cincinnati.

The staff is exceptionally useful in helping visitors pair their meals with specific bottles of wine to pull the most taste out of the meal and make your dinner a hit.
And with weekly events like Thirsty Thursday with Carrie Buttner, Perfect Pairings, and Wines We Are Thankful For, you’ll have to stop by this fun wine shop for the taste testings alone.

Located next to the McDonald’s on Montgomery Road, El Jinete is one of those restaurants that’s whatever you make of it. Looking for a family dinner night? Their big Mexican plates and inexpensive prices are ideal for your budget. Or did you have a long, stressful week and need a drink? Order up one (or three) of their margaritas to take the edge off and enjoy a happy hour with colleagues or night out with friends.
Don’t forget about the free chips and salsa—a restaurant with that is always a winner in our book!
